Yishuv HaDa’at is a settlement in Samaria near Shilo.
It has been for some years already that Russian-speaking volunteers are planting trees in the settlement. The moving spirit of the honorable undertaking is Olga Katkova who took upon herself the entire management of this not so easy task. There is also a small group of her faithful companions who go out with her to work to the Yishuv HaDa’at almost every week.
See a film about Yishuv HaDa’at:
Last year, a park was laid out with 50 trees planted. This year, an alley of 45 cedars has been planted and about one-hundred forest trees have been bought.
As of today, for the further development and maintenance of the park, we need money to buy piping for the watering system for about 100 trees - $300.
